Potential Storm Clouds

Here we are in the middle of Spoon Lake. I notice these clouds off to the southwest. Then I tell 'em 'See how that cloud is getting all blown over to the right. That means there's probably a lot of shear in the atmosphere (winds out of a different direction and much faster above the ground). So we're either going to have no rain or some nasty storms.' We definitely kept our eyes to the sky the rest of the day, and for good reason.
